Helpful Books for Paris

Winding up a 2-week trip in Normandy and Paris want to pass along a few recommendations to the RS community since it helped me plan my trip. In addition to RS guidebooks, 'Markets of Paris' is worth every penny as we hit several market days including Marche Saxe-Breteuil in the 7th and Marche Raspail on Sunday in the 6th...albeit with teenagers and they loved it. 'City Secrets - Paris' by Robert Kahn is full of insight from Parisiens as well as seasoned travelers on their favorite places. Carried it almost every day and it never disappointed us. It's a hard cover but digest size.
Finally, 'Quiet Corners of Paris' is a gem of a book.

Best pic tip: wake up super early! I woke up as early as possible some days (0600) just to take pictures. Outside of joggers and police, I had Luxembourg Gardens practically to myself one day . Best pictures ever!
