Heading out again - Krakow, Budapest and Taormina - Blogging my efforts

I will be filing my typical reports - mostly a cataloguing of the things I've done wrong, peppered with a few (hopeful) successes. Things that might be of interest to you planners on RS - I'm flying Norwegian Premium Economy and will report on that. I'm also doing a private ride from Krakow to Budapest after ditching the $5 Polski Bus idea. We've hired a private guide for one day of touring out of Taormina to get to a few other cities. For you food allergy travelers out there, I'll be weighing in on navigating Poland and Hungary for the first time while trying to avoid corn, wheat and almonds. It always makes for some fun and a few meals that consist of candy bars!

PM me if you want me to link you to my blog. I don't paste the trip reports onto this site because I cover it all - the good, the bad and the personal:)

@Andi - Thanks! I've worked super hard on this trip. It's jam-packed with heavy sightseeing days in Budapest and Krakow and really nice hotels/apartments - all at pretty reasonable nightly charges.

In Krakow we had two wonderful meals at Pod Aniolami. It is in an historic building with a huge fireplace where they grill the meat. Highly recommended. Not far from main square.

Valerie, I just checked out your blog and look forward to following your adventures. I'm heading to Costa Rica this December and to central Europe (Poland, Czechia, and eastern Germany) next spring, so I'm about a year behind you and excited to learn from your experiences.

Have a great trip!

@Lane - Thanks! And holy cow - your blog makes mine look like it was developed by, well...unartistic me! We've got a lot planned for this trip. I worked really hard on the order of sites for Krakow and Budapest as we only have 4 days and I really wanted to maximize what we saw. Likewise, I did probably a hundred hours ( I wish this was an exaggeration, but it's not) of review checking of sites and hotels so I'm hoping for a stellar trip. It's the nicest group of hotels/apartments I've ever put together. I'm happy to share my list with you.
