We recently did a river boat cruise down the Danube to Romania. We spent additional time in Bucharest with the riverboat company on a land tour. As you cannot do each of the options offered, we had the tour of Old Town Bucharest left unseen. The company had been using Dan as a local guide for the group. My husband and I hired Dan for a private tour of the Old Town Bucharest, and we were extremely pleased. His English is excellent and he is quite knowledgeable of the city as he has lived there all his life, I believe. In the course of the tour, we happen to find out that he is also a local guide for Rick Steve's show on Romania. I highly recommend him. You cannot go wrong with him. We are so pleased to have spent part of our day in Bucharest with Dan!
