Four weeks visiting Sporades Islands: Skopelos, Alonisos, Skiathos. Also Meteora and Vergina on mainland. Wonderful time. Tenth trip to Greece. Don't be put off by alarmist media reports. Typical Greek hospitality: warm, friendly and thoughtful. Flew Copenhagen to Skiathos via Vienna. Great beaches on each island. Stayed at moderately priced (45-50 euro) family-owned studio apartments with a/c and kitchenettes. Much snorkeling. Some hiking. A little kayaking. Excellent meals at beachfront tavernas.
