Hotel Bonaparte on Rue Bonaparte was a superb recommendation by Rick Steve. I can't say enough nice things about Eric, Stephane and several others at front desk. They were helpful, friendly and always there! This hotel has a marvelous location, around the corner from St. Sulpice church and Brasserie de la Mairie where we had a coffee and croissant at the bar every morning (say bonjour to Manuel from us!). Short walk to Deux Magots and Luxembourg Gardens which are stunning! Across from gardens was our much frequented cafe, Au Petit Suisse: wonderful salads and Pouilly Fume wine. Hotel amenities were spot on: plenty of hot water and fresh towels daily. Mattress was firm and windows blocked out any street noise..good AC too.
Highly recommend this hotel. Hope this helps any future travelers to beautiful Paris!
