Gorlitz: Hotel Bon Apart. Great deal. This hotel is endorsed in Rick's Berlin book and I am just reinforcing his recommendation. Owner Francois, is helpful and informative ... giving suggestions for a couple of restaurants across the bridge in Poland, and also specific wines that were good at a low price. Rooms in the hotel were very good sized and clean, breakfast was a well above average German buffet ... meaning there were many choices of good food for almost everyone that I know. Gorlitz is an interesting town to walk in the day, but better at night. Definitely worth the time to visit.
