Hi, Bon jour!! I just got back from a trip to Paris in mid-April--I have two things to recommend that you might want to try: Visit this restaurant, at least to just to see it, if you don't want to dine there: Au Vieux Paris, located near Notre Dame, at 24 Rue Chanoinesse. It doesn't get more French than this place! So pretty, and OLD, built in 1512. We had a late lunch here....no crowd and had no reservation--just walked in. Food is good and prices reasonable. Service was terrific....don't miss it! Very pretty at night too!
Also can strongly recommend the Paris at Night Car tour, by 4 Roues Sous 1 Parapluie (details in Rick Steves guide book). And, if you are really lucky, you will get Vincent for your driver! This is a night time, 90 minute roll-back top car tour of Paris!! It was a bit rainy when he picked us up at out hotel, but just a few minutes into the tour, the rain let up and he put the top down, and offered blankets, as it was cool too.... Vincent was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable! Book a tour NOW!!
