In September 2017, my wife and I did a 33 day trip through Germany & Austria. We rented a car in Frankfurt & for 15 days travelled to Bacharach,Trier, Baden Baden, Staufen, Fussen, Munich, Salzburg and ended in Passau Germany. We traded our car for 2 bikes & a trailer for our luggage & cycled the Danube for 10 days, staying in Wesenufer, Feldkirchin, Linz, Schwertberg, Gein, Melk, Krems, Tulln & ended in Vienna Austria. We had pre booked our hotels, so had to be at a destination every day or second day. Flew from Vienna to Frankfurt for a return flight to Vancouver Canada.
