My wife and I just completed a magical two week trip to the Czech Republic. We utilized PATHFINDERS (http://www.pathfinders.cz) for help with the genealogical portion of the trip. Tom and Marie Zahn, who own and operate the service, were able to do far more extensive research than what I could have ever done from afar. They provided us a detailed report relying, for instance, on birth, marriage and death records. Every effort was made to personalize the experience to my family. Tom drove us to a number of towns and cities associated with my family. They arranged for translators to communicate with the locals outside Prague (who generally do not speak english. Do not underestimate the difficulty of communicating with Czech-speaking peoples, as the language is very difficult to grasp). Additionally, they set up meetings with local guides familiar with the particulars of the towns and cities we visited.
