Having to return the rental car the following day and flying home from CDG, we struggled to find a hotel that was not full in Goussainville. We were directed to Gonesse. We stayed at the new Hotel Premiere Classe, part of the Louvre Hotel group. The price was perfect for our overnight, the breakfast offered for 4.90 Euro was more than adequate and better than some of the higher priced fares we had been offered. There are many restaurants around the hotel for dinner. It was a perfect location for our tired bodies who were done with sight seeing and waiting to go home.
The best for travelers with rental cars, on the way to Charles De Gaulle is an Elf Station with a human working and prices that are the same as the SuperU or Carrefour. Skip Goussainville and go to Gonesse, and follow the green signs to Charles De Gaulle.

Vicki, great tip. Thanks. Does this hotel have a shuttle to the airport? I want to change from the Ibis CDG3 this year.

I doubt it. We had a rented car, and that is why it was so handy. Easy access with vehicle to CDG and easy access to reasonably priced fuel.
