First Italian Trip...Bellagio....rome...sorrento 13 days

Hello everyone, here is our italy trip at the end suggestions I would change if I went again. Thx Mary
Day 1 to 5 Flight, Pensacola to Atlanta to Milan. Overnight flight on delta, no issues except unable to sleep, to uncomfortable for me. Cost for 2 with extra room seats both ways $2,053.00. Landed in Milan around 10.30, small airport, waited for our driver from Bellagiotaxi.com. Cost was 260.00 from airport to hotel door. It was a nice mercedes van, comfy and quiet. Driver didn't say a word. but thats ok. Trip took about 1.5 hours on a crazy road. Our hotel was the Hotel il Perlo up on a hill over looking lake como. Stayed here 5 nights. Hotel was nice, had stairs, balcony over looking lake. but they had major construction going on which took away from the joy of sitting on the terrace. Hotel cost was 1236.00 it had free breakfast and a nice one to boot, coffee table service, and free shuttle to bellagio for shopping and ferries. We loved the town, lots of walking over cobblestone pathways that all went up. I definately got 8,000 steps a day here. Great food, shopping was a shoppers dream. Checked out a nice church, took ferry to Varenna one day and walked up to the castello di vezio, which if i knew how hard that would of been not done it. very taxing on the old body, Personally it was not worth it. IMO. We also went to the botanical gardens now that was worth it. Just beautiful, everything was blooming. Not alot else to do here, lil shopping or restaurants. A few restaurants added a seating charge, 2 to 5 per person, but some did not. I only got strong armed for a tip once at more of a tourist restaurant. To continue
