We've just spent five days in Andalusia - at a charming B&B Inn called Casa Olea. It's located about four hours south of Madrid, in a gorgeous area called the Sierra Subettica. About an hour from Cordoba, Jaen and Granada - lovely hill towns with Arab and Christian influence.. Tim and Claire, a couple of Brits, are delightful hosts at Casa Olea. Their place has six rooms, all tastefully decorated, a pool, all surrounded by endless olive groves. Very peaceful and serene. Claire does all the cooking - breakfast is included, and every evening she prepares an amazing dinner, locally sourced. Tim will give you endless suggestions for day trips, hikes, birdwatching, stargazing. We have made two trips to Casa Olea, and we can't wait to go back again! This place should be on your radar.
Wow, I just looked at the website (https://www.casaolea.com) and it looks like a beautiful place! Would love to stay at a place like this. The dog Ruby is a plus.
Saved the link - thanks!
Ruby the dog will hike with you! She absolutely won't let you get lost. She knows the area better than the humans.
Thanks for the mention. It puts Andalusia on my travel radar.
Oh my gosh, this looks like a fabulous B&B! Good reason to revisit Spain. Sent the info. to friends who are booked in the region next year.
