Thanks to those on RS forum who recommended Inverleith Hotel in Edinburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It is a lovely happy medium between a B&B and a modern corporate hotel. It has old world charm and traditional décor, but more privacy than a B&B. Located around the corner from 3 bus routes and a stone's throw from the Botanic Garden. Would happily stay there again.
