We just returned from Dubrovnik & Split. We loved the walled city of Dubrovnik, walking on the walls & staying in the old town. We stayed in apartments in both cities that were perfect & reasonably priced. Also, in Dubrovnik there is a new, clean self laundry facility just outside the Ploce gate (Sanja & Rosie's at Put od Bosanke 2). We stayed in apartments in both cities. Dubrovnik: Apartment Bette was a delightful apartment. It was within the walled city a few feet off the Stratum, very clean & neat for a reasonable cost. Split: Here we stayed at a huge, beautiful, modern apartment with a lovely garden/patio. It was a 5 minute walk from the walls of the old town. The owner Megi was also very helpful & even helped us arrange a ride to the airport at 4:30AM. She can be reached at megi.gabela@gmail.com
