In this village tourist office one morning in July, 2019, someone came in beside me at the counter and introduced himself as Rick Steves here to update his guidebook information on Chipping Campden. So I naturally asked for a photo for which he obligingly demonstrated his selfie skills. A favorite spot I didn't get to tell him about was the Court Barn Museum which chronicles an Arts and Crafts movement when a number of talented artists, bookbinders, potters, metal workers, etc. gathered here in the early 1900s to pursue their work. And it fascinated me that the only artist remaining is the Hart Silversmith which operates in a second story amazing workshop on Sheep Street where we were welcomed to tour.
