Chartres-Paris-Ulm- Schwangau-Mercedes Benz Museum

Just covered the above places; I made the trip up on the go based on weather reports and stuff I've wanted to see. I stayed in all Accor brand hotels since I have status and get a free welcome drink. I did all picnics as the weather was nice. I got over here using my entire balance of British Airways Executive Club Avios and a couple of hundred dollars.
A couple of notes:
I had not been to France in 4 years. According to an employee on the TER REMI line you no longer need to stamp (composter) the ticket you buy from a machine although the ticket I bought still says you do. I learned this when I could not find any yellow machines at Gare de Chartres.

Ulm Cathedral is the tallest in the world.

Late October can be a good time to visit
Neuschwanstein castle (and Europe in general), in an area that according to sources averages 6,000 tourists a day. Nothing was crowded.

The Mercedes Benz Museum has the most expensive car ever bought at auction(a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe sold for $142 million) and was a great visit; I spent 3 1/2 hours there. Since some have asked before, aI would not recommend trying to go to the Porsche museum the same day.
Anyhow here's some photos to give some an idea:

Fabulous. Your clothes brightened the day. Did you eat at Baba Zulu?

Great photos !! Yeah the thing about no longer composting tickets is weird to me too. I always think if I get checked, the conductor isn't going to be aware of the change haha

I need to spend more time in Accor properties so I can get a welcome drink !!
