Following the advice of Rick (and our Prague tour guide) we headed up to the castle shortly after arriving in C.K. to reserve tickets for the Baroque Theatre tour for the following day. Well we ran into a ticket seller who epitomizes the poor customer service that unfortunately prevails in Czechia. She insisted that there was no way that she could reserve tickets for us and had no idea what time the tours would be the next day. She told me that you can reserve online (you can’t) and gave me the wrong website address! There was a phone number on the website-which no one answered. Exasperated we headed back to the general ticket office for the castle (where they don’t sell tickets for the theatre) and begged someone there for help. She led us back to the theatre ticket office, spoke to a different ticket seller who reserved two tickets for us for the following day at 10:00 AM. The tour was excellent and only had eight people. My wife joked that everyone else who tried to buy a ticket was turned away by that Communist era holdover!
