My wife and I stayed at a beautiful B&B called Casa Olea with three friends, situated on a small road between Córdoba and Granada. HIGHLY recommended for people who want to relax and get away from big cities and noise. Yet not far from Córdoba and Granada for a day visit.
Operated by Tim and his wife, two very wonderful people who have vast experience themselves in travel. They welcome guests as if family has returned, really make you feel at home...sense of humor is another great characteristic.
Breakfast is abundant, and there are great dinners available with a good selection of wines. DInner on the terrace overlooking olive groves while listening to a river nearby is as close to heaven as one can be..!
The surrounding area has many small beutful towns to visit, many with castles, from the road one can see old moorish towers used to alert of advancing invaders.
The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds, parking and wifi is available... Overall a beautiful experience... Would return here in an instant! Google : Casa Olea, Spain.....

I could not agree more on the above comments. My wife and I spent 4 nights there this past week and absolutely loved it Tim and Claire were the best B& B hosts we have ever met. They were a tremdous help in organizing suggested day trips with impeccable directions. We had a wonderful meal every night - with a different menu each night. Great wine choices and very reasonable prices. I think the overall value is excellent and we will definitely return if we are in that area again.
