A quick recommendation to anyone traveling to Cartagena. My husband and I spent Christmas in this magical city and stayed for one night at Hotel Playa Manglares. This dream of a place is located on Isla Baru just off of Cartagena and it is the most beautiful, serene, wonderful place. Miguel and his family treat you like one of their own. We tried to stay 2 more nights, but it was booked. It is an absolute paradise and was the highlight of our trip.
Definitely book the island hopping excursion while you're there. Miguel will set it up for you. Snorkel, eat fresh caught lobster, relax on a private beach...best day! Please feel free to reach out with more questions! We LOVED Cartagena.
