Would someone who has taken the best of Tuscany Tour in 2024 expand a bit on the tour. There does not seem to be much in the way of current information in the forum or scrapbooks as it is a fairly new tour. We are also interested in how much "free time" (other than Florence). Any information would be appreciated as we are planning for our trip in September.

I've not been on this tour, but reading the itinerary it looks like it is well paced with a lot of variety with some interesting and preferred locations with lots of free time to wander around at leisure. I would gladly take this tour and leave the driving to them. They mention several things that would be harder to line up in a timely manner yourself.

I have not been on this tour but did enjoy the Heart of Italy tour that included several small towns (Volterra, Luca). Several of the tour members rented bicycles to ride around the ancient wall of Lucca, others went to the museum. We all had a great time and I’m sure you will also.
