Best of Ireland 13 days

Just finished up the Best of Ireland tour. The tour guide, Declan was a gem. He really went the extra mile to ensure we had a meaningful and enjoyable trip. The local guides we had, especially the younger guy in Dublin added so much to the local experience. Countryside was better every day. Dingle, Westport, Dublin, Giants Causeway, so many special places. The accommodations were all top notch. Discovered how good Irish cider is. Had a wonderful group of people to travel with. Could not have asked for better weather, but would have enjoyed the trip even if the typical Irish weather was going on. Gained an in depth knowledge of the history of the people of Ireland, especially the Troubles period. (not so long ago). Would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Where did you stay in Galway? I loved the day trip from there to Innishmore, but the hotel in Galway was really not very nice. However, this was pre-pandemic and I think they are using a different hotel now.

We were on the Best of Ireland tour last month. We stayed at the Galway Park House hotel. It was pretty nice. Convenient location at the center of town.

We had Declan on our BOI tour before Covid. I glad to hear he is still guiding RS tours as he was great on our tour, too!

As that other person reported, the Park House Hotel. The location was great, and very nice accommodations. We only had one night there.
