This is a continuation from my previous post but about being active in Bellagio: If you're looking for something a bit more active, which I highly recommend, runm, do not walk to Bellagio Water Sports for kayaking or stand up paddleboarding. We did not get to do the later because of time and weather constraints, but our day of kayaking on Lake Como was amazing! The starting point is based in Pescallo about 10 minutes walking from center Bellagio. The owner/guide Michele Gandola (known as Mich) is a wealth of information on the area as well as an excellent kayaking guide in terms of technique, safety and interest. It's a great way to see the lake and experience Bellagio. There are a variety of tours to take in terms of distance and views and if you get the chance ... do them all .. but the must do is of course the one that takes you in front of Bellagio. Just send him an email either before or after arriving and you're sure to be treated well. We also had a great al fresco lunch just next door at the hotel / restaurant. However, if you're not already in Pescallo, it is perhaps not worth the brief trip over. I suggest La Punta for lunch.
