Just a couple words to the wise about this recommended hotel in Bayeux, France....
Logis Les Remparts is located in a great spot in Bayeux. Everything is within walking distance. The cathedral is only a couple blocks away. There is a park just across the street. Breakfast is offered at 7 euros/pp extra and is well worth it.
The bad bits...
The proprietor supplies no soap for shower, so be sure to bring your own or purchase in town.
The proprietor also mentions in the Rules, Restrictions and Polices that "Because all our rooms offer the same high standard of quality, I reserve the right to transfer you from one room to another, depending on our demand and bookings." In essence, this is what we call a bait and switch. The rooms are NOT all the same standard. There are only 3 rooms. Two are very nice. The third is the attic room (Judaine). This room can be very hot in warm weather (but you can only open the north windows or it gets even hotter. It is also not outfitted anything like the Bajocasse or Bourbesneur. The shower in the Judaine is very small and requires a sizable step/down to get in/out of it. (step stool is included). If you couldn't tell, we booked the Bajocasse room but were 'relocated' to the Judaine room on arrival. Our friends were in the Bourbesneur Suite so we got to see that, and saw the Bajocasse room as well. Both are far and above better rooms!
We were offered to move down into the Bajocasse for our last couple days but after unpacking everything and being settled into our room for several days we didn't take the offer.
In short, buyer beware. This is a RS recommended site.
Thanks for your review of this place. We stayed here too, but about 10 years ago and were less than happy with almost everything. The bed was horrid, we kept rolling into each other in the middle, it was so sunken. We also did not get the room we had reserved and were stuck in that hot attic room. The signs all over the place about what you were not supposed to do were amazing!
The coffee here was the absolute worst coffee I had ever had in my life. The fact that many of their guests are going off to join morning tours doesn't bother them and they won't serve coffee or breakfast early enough in the morning for those guests.
Personally, I think Rick should remove them from his book.
Our experience in our 1st night in Bayeux at this lovely B&B was the exact opposite. We loved it here.

Hmmm, my husband and I stayed in this B&B for 4 nights at the end of September 2013, in the top-floor room, and loved it! I don't know if it has changed hands since then, but it was a delightful place to stay and the B&B hosts couldn't do enough for us.
