Been using RS books for thirty years, and again his suggestions came through. First, if you love art, the museums in Amsterdam rival those in Paris--in my opinion. Especially, the Vincent museum. The tip to use Haarlem as a base was perfect. Charming small town and easy shot into Amsterdam. The Dutch are friendly and speak fluent English. Last, Delft was wonderful and not far off--great market and home of Vermeer with a museum. The perfect vacation for eight days or so. Cheers, bob
