Over the last week of April ‘22 my wife and I flew to and from AMS (Amsterdam) International airport. Unless things have materially improved, do yourselves a favor and allow plenty of time to get processed. (Typically I like between 2.5 and 3 hours, but even that was running things tight.) Around April 24th, I believe KLM was having labor issues with ground staff. From what we heard, that contributed to slow service. But we also found, in general, delays everywhere. What we were hearing was general staffing shortages. From the checking process with British Airways and all through security, the lines were ridiculous……
Yeah, it's an ongoing problem. Hopefully it improves soon.
