We just finished an amazing tour of Greece with Filippos Kanakaris. He is highly organized, safety conscious, kind, charming, funny, and full of incredible historical knowledge. It was our first tour and it will set the gold standard for all future tours. That said, the rumor is that all tour guides and managers are incredible. They work so hard!

It’s more than a rumor! We’ve had 17 different RSE tour guides/managers, and almost without exception, they have done a wonderful job under what must often be trying or frustrating conditions.

Filippos is the best! We took the Greece tour with him in 2018 and he really went above and beyond. We loved all of his stories (especially about his Greek family) and the get togethers he organized for us. We’ve taken four RS tours and we enjoyed Filippos more than our other guides even though they were all good. Filippos is extraordinary!

We had Filippos on our BOE 14 tour fall of 2022, like very one has said he was a wonderful guide they went well above and beyond. We are going to Greece next May and hope he is our guide once more!
