TRAVEL IN TURKEY

We spent two delightful weeks in Turkey (Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pergamum, Pamakkale, Canakkale, Ephesus, Troy, and everything inbetween). We worked with a travel agent in Istanbul who speaks very good English and is prompt in returning emails, calls. He is Kursat Yilmaz at Pasifik Travel at Divanyolu 34 CAD. in Istanbul--right next to the Sultanamet tram stop near the Hagia Sophia. He customized our trip to see what sights we wanted to and how long we wanted to stay. He had wonderful connections throughout the country--super non-touristy hotels, great guides. He was available 24/7 for any problems that came up and always resolved quickly. Whether you want him for planning a day trip or more extended, I would highly recommend him. This is the best way to travel in Turkey---plan your own trip and timing, but let someone local do the details. There was always someone there to meet us in each place. I can give you more info about our travels in interested.
