Returned home this past Saturday.
Stayed at a Novum Hotel on Bulow St. Rm. Number 013. Facing the courtyard out back.
Virtually no street noise from the front. Buffet breakfast was 14 Euro each. To expensive for us. Didn't do it.

37.00 Euro each for a 7 day unlimited use pass on public transportation. For us, well worth it. That even got us up to Sachsehausen prisoner camp which is 33 k from Berlin..
Picked out about a dozen sites from the guide book. Only 4 had an admission charge. Plenty of things to see that are free. Did a bunch of walking seeing different things.
Very enjoyable trip.
