23 days, 7 countries, 3 planes, 18 trains, 2 cogwheel lines, 5 river boats and a steamboat!

Just back from fabulous travel in central Europe: The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland. Every bit of our research and study of Rick Steves' travel guides was worth it, and for us, it's part of the fun! I'll post a few specific bits of information/advice on the destination pages, but would be happy to answer any questions and/or share general information. We flew into Amsterdam and out of Zurich, and used a Eurail Global Pass for train travel, which was fabulous. As always, we followed Rick's guidance to pack light, traveling with only a 21" roller bag and a shoulder bag each. We have so many wonderful memories of places and people. "Keep on traveling'!"
