Anyone take this tour? How was guide, accommodations, food, bus, etc.. I'm a 60 year old woman traveling solo.
Would you recommend, or not?
Thanks

I liked it, also traveled solo and took the single supplement. Spent an extra day in Stockholm on the front end and an extra in Bergen on the back end. Did a one day Norway in the Nutshell from Bergen. Saw loads and got a good taste of Scandinavia. Lots of opportunity to eat local and enjoyed the hotels (except for one!) Plenty of variety, history, nature, art etc. Lisa R was our guide and she was very good and extremely excited about Scandinavia.

My husband and I took this tour in May 2016. The bus was comfortable and the local guides were good. The bus driver and tour guide were fantastic! The accommodations were very good, although some people were not impressed with the hotel in Copenhagen. However, the location was fantastic and they offered free wine and beer at happy hour, so I enjoyed it. I've only taken two RS tours, but on both I noticed that there was one hotel that was not great but there was one accommodation that was really special.

Besides the fantastic tour guide and bus driver, the tour was amazing because of the great group of people who took this tour with us. I would highly recommend this tour. There is a nice mix of cities and natural beauty. There is also a nice mix of churches, museums, and city halls.

We spent a week visiting Helsinki and Tallinn before starting the tour so this tour was part of an amazing 3 week adventure for us.

if you click on my name and then topics I participated in, you will find my trip report of this tour from June of this year.
I will also be submitting a scrapbook probably over the weekend, so you can look for that. There are lots of photos of the hotels, the guides, the food and bus time.
I had a great time and DO recommend the tour.
If you have more specific questions let me know.
