Hi all, I'm currently on a solo RTW trip, heading for Croatia next month, and in the process of planning for Oct and December. I'm going east, so am thinking of Turkey, Thailand and Bali next. If anyone would like to join/meet me along the way, that would be great, I'd love to hear from you! Or if you have any tips for me in those countries, I'd love to hear them as well.

Hi Sara, I land in Croatia Sept 17, will likely stay there till Oct 5, so I'll be booking my onward travel soon. When will you be in India? Where were you planning on going after that?

That is just what I am planning on doing!! A RTW trip leaving next month. Where are you now? - I see your last post was about 5 months ago. How is/was Thailand Bali?? That is my main destination but I will be going to Spain & France first, then Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bali. Then back home via Hong Kong, departing out of LAX.

I'm actually in Cambodia now. I loved, loved, loved Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai). I would have liked to stay longer, but only had a 30 day visa. Bali I didn't like as much. There was too big a division between the tourist areas and the local people. My favorite part of Bali was the snorkeling and surfing (candidasa and seminyak). The interior of the country is quite beautiful as well.
