Travel Partner...I Bet You're Out There

Hello Peeps - I just returned from a month long tour of Greece. Actually 2 back-to-back tours. The first was fine, but the second one, "Island Hopping" included little opportunity to get into the rhythm and savor the flavor of the islands. It made me long for independent travel.

Unfortunately, my best travel buddy is no longer available. Although some completely solo travel is fine with me, a solo month in Greece didn't float my boat, hence the tours. Having someone to share the ups and downs of independent travel is my preference. I'm a reasonably fit 70yo woman who has a moderate adventuresome streak. I love smaller towns, interacting with locals, and find connecting with kids especially rewarding.

I have no specific plans at this point, just putting feelers out. Get in touch if you want to explore a possible match.
Thanks

Hi Surtshin. You'll probably get some better advice from the many experienced solo travelers on this site, but just wanted to point out that there's a Portland group and a Seattle group that meets up in person. It could be a way to meet/mingle and see if you click with someone as a potential travel buddy.

There are also a couple of online Zoom meetings for everyone spread across the country (and beyond).
