Palermo is a stunning and complex city. We lucked into an amazing guide, Francesca Lombardo. She wrote the book on Sicilian food and wine. Day 1 she took us on a memorable walking tour of Palermo's amazing food markets to taste fabulous local dishes and best of all to taste delicious Siciliana wines.
Day 2 was Segesta and the fascinating and very cool historic island of Mozia. Francesca has a great car and is an excellent driver...highly recommend her if you want a fun, smart andseasoned guide.
