Looking at a tour to Thailand in November. Anyone had good/bad experiences with any tour company that works in Thailand? Anyone have any insight on Firebird Tours? Any help is appreciated (wish Rick S. went there!)...

Someone asked about tours the other day (on a different thread). Roads Scholar ‘Best of Thailand’ was mentioned along with OAT and Odysseys Unlimited Tour Companies which had pretty good reviews (apparently)

We are planning a trip to Thailand and we are looking into a company called Asia Pioneer Travel. I have been in communication with them and they did send me the copy of their travel license. I looked it up on TAT and it is legitimate from what I can tell.
Trust Pilot & Tripadvisor both have glowing reviews. Have you heard of them? It is a private tour. Not a group tour which is always better.

I’m booked with Gate 1 travel for the end of January on their 15 day Kaleidoscope of Thailand with River Kwai Tour. I found the itinerary interesting and have traveled with Gate 1 enough to know that I will get a quality product.
They have quite a few different tour offerings.
