I will be in Spain for a solo trip from early May to early June 2017. I will be in Barcelona, Sevilla, Granada, Toledo, Madrid and a few small towns.
If you are passing through any of these cities in Spain and might be interested in having a travel buddy for a day of city-strolling, tapas or even an evening meal (you know, one that starts at 21:00 and requires a nap beforehand) let me know and we can compare schedules to see if our paths cross.
Becky, I love this idea, just meeting up with someone for a paseo, passeggiata, or meal. It will be a nice break in one's journey, as well.
We tried this a couple of years ago; when I saw that one of the folks on this Forum was going to be in London the same time we were, and staying in a hotel just down the street from ours, I suggested meeting up for a beer. As it turned out, it didn't work (he had posted the wrong dates!), but I still like the thought of it.
We have met some of the folks who post here, both in the States and abroad, and have always enjoyed their company.

I will be in Spain mid-to-late May, myself. I have no plans at the moment from May 20 to May 23. I'll be based in Madrid but was thinking of going to Valencia during that time (leaving out of MAD on May 24).
Nancy, consider a stop in Cuenca on your way to or from Valencia.
