Hey. I am a 19 year old american guy planning about a 5 month backpacking trip to Europe from March-August. Since I can only be in the Schengen zone for 3 of those months, in May I am planning to a non-Schengen zone country and recoup financially a bit by WWOOFing and traveling cheaply in the deep countryside for most of that month. I have been looking at going into the Carpathian Mountains in Romania in May, and am looking to go to a rural farmstead deep in the mountains where I can get in touch with the nature that still thrives there. However, that is a bit of a difficult task to pull off alone, and it would be really cool if someone was interested in tagging along with me. I am especially interested in fishing and wild food gathering, and camping far out in the wild. The Carpathians still have large populations of wolves and brown bears, and I would really like to see one, and meet and befriend some locals. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
