Single woman, age 60, seeking another single woman to travel to Ireland via an escorted tour in September, 2013. This is my first-ever trip to Europe, so I'm taking the "safe route" this time -- letting a tour company do the planning, transporting, etc. I will be more brave on future trips -- and I'm considering adding a week of on-my-own (or on-our-own?) travel after the escorted tour. TBD. I've looked at a few tour companies and have found one that offers a two-week trip for about $2600, everything but a few lunches included in the price, with a lot of interesting tours. I would like to find a travel companion so as to avoid the single supplement (several hundred $$).
