Hut-to-hut trekking in Italian Dolomites, Sept 13-16

Hello! As part of a longer Italian trip, will be in the Italian Dolomites from September 13 to September 16. I would like to do 4-5 hours of trekking a day, staying overnight in the "refugios" (i.e. huts in the mountains with beds, breakfast and dinner), and getting a good dose of local culture by exploring villages along the way. I am a 29-year old Canadian girl, looking for easy-going trekking companions to discover this fantastic region with. Cheers, Kate

I would love to accompany you. How much do the huts cost?

Hi Danielle, From what I've been reading, the huts increase in cost the more remote they are. For the ones I've been looking at (which aren't that remote), they seem to be in the 40-50 euro range for a dorm room including breakfast and dinner.
Have you had any other trekking experience? Kate

I have not but I am very athletic and very open to new things and this sounds wonderful. I am currently in Berlin inter railing for two months but at any time I can come to Italy and meet with you and start if you would like. Danielle

Hi Danielle, Sent you a message, but not sure if you got it. Let me know if you are still interested and we can sort out the details! I'm thinking of meeting in Cortina D'Ampezza.
