I am travelling through Europe, stopping in Florence last week of April. Looking for travel buddy 45-65 for sightseeing, dinner or side trips. I usually focus on architecture and museums.

Older frequent traveler (73) to Europe. Widowed, often visit my 2 twin grandsons, they are Croatian/American citizens, conceived in Moscow, born in Germany, living in London. German-born myself, but prefer warmer climes around the Adriatic. Southern California resident, reasonably intelligent, reasonably financially stable. I much prefer a female travel partner without any serious romantic attachment (I have a well-traveled GF, but she's become a real stay-at-home except maybe New Orleans or Savannah). Still work part-time, but flexible on schedule. Prefer late spring, early fall. Scandinavia, northern inland Italy and Portugal are on my bucket list.

Are your plans etched in stone? I am a 60's single female and plan to be in Florence the 1st week of May. I'm not flying into Milan until April 29
