My wife and I (in our 60's) are planning a 6-day south bound cruise (Kirkenes to Bergen, Norway) in September 2014. Our very close friend, a single woman in her 50's, has expressed real interest in this cruise, but the costs for a single occupancy room is double that for a couple (about US$2,800) for the 6 days. Is there a single (divorced or widowed) 50-60 something fit woman who would be interested in splitting the cost of this voyage with our friend? This is all in the very early planning stage and it may not come to pass, but wanted to explore this matter early on.

I am in my early 60's and love cruising! even worked for NCL for a short 4 weeks :) Non smoker, non drinker. I would like to stay in touch with you. I am about to embark on a round the world trip and not sure where I'll be in Sept, but would do a cruise if I am back.
