Hello everyone, I have booked a flight ticket with Delta Airline but realized that the spelling of my name on the ticket is incorrect. I want to fix the mistake before departure. Has anyone here altered or changed a name on their ticket. If yes, can you explain the process and provide any suggestion on how to initiate the delta name change fee procedure. Also, does anyone know the name change charges? I will be grateful for your advice and guidance.
You could try just calling Delta and asking them. If it's a one letter correction to your first or last name (middle name doesn't count) then that's what I would do. If it's a bigger correction, see below.

There are some requirements you will need to do and will probably have to verify the correct name.
How much change? That might help us to respond t o you. Second, call Delta. My wife's name is Marcia. Sometimes it shows up as Marsha. We just ignore it and no one has even said anything. Her passport and DL is Marcia.

Looks like the thing to do is contact Delta
Depending on the 'correction' needed a fee might apply.
This is your second post with name problem on your airline ticket. Are you booking your own tickets online? Be careful entering your data, double check before submitting, and make sure it matches your form of identification!
If you’re using airline reservation agent or travel agent, and you have an uncommon name or a name which can be spelled multiple ways, then spell it out letter by letter to the agent and have them repeat back to you. Good luck avoiding this problem again in the future!
