Beer Trips?

I am heading to Germany in February.

The focus of this and all of my travel in Europe or the UK is (1) great beers, both craft and production brewery, (2) art museums, mostly pre-1950, but not exclusively, (3) Roman history sites and museums, and (4) walking at least 8-10 miles per day to do all of thse things. Will also travel to F1 races if they fit into my schedule. And, I will visit a therme or spa a couple times during my trip.

I am a married male whose wife does not usually travel with me, aged 65 and fully retired. My goal is to travel twice each year for approximately one month each trip. Willing to travel with men, women, couples, or non-binary. You can do a week or two or the whole trip. I enjoy planning my trips, doing extensive research and writing detailed plans that include museums, beer and food stops, walking and transportation routes, and hotels. I stay in either well-reviewed hostels (I like the community atmosphere) or solid no-frills hotels (ibis Budget or Marriott Moxy, for example).

My next trip is in February, beginning on the 3rd in Frankfurt. Current plans are to visit Trier, Cologne (it's Karnival season!), Dusseldorf, Berlin and Bamberg in the first two weeks. I then have a week open as I am on the waitlist to attend an English immersion course as a coach. Followed by a few days in Koblenz before heading back to the US.

Reach out to me if you have an interest in joining me on this or a future trip.
