We were going to do this route by bus but I'm thinking we're going to do a private ride. Primetourskrakow is 310 Euros for 2 or 320 Euros for 4.
They'll include a free stop at Vikolinec but they'll also stop at Banska Stiavnica for 65 Euros. I'm thinking about adding this on.

We (my husband and I) are still in the process of building our summer itinerary for Europe this summer and we wanted to include Krakow and Budapest. (We have already been to Prague.) We originally were interested in traveling from Krakow to Budapest, but didn't want to take the overnight train or a long bus ride.
How much time do you save by using a private transfer? Any other information?

So it's still a 6 hour ride. It's not a real timesaver - it's just more pleasant. If you add in one of the stops - like Banska Stiavnica, you are making it a 9 hour day. While I have not committed to any one company yet, I am considering using this one: http://primetourskrakow.com
