Who'd be Interested in a Pittsburgh Meetup?

Hi Rick, welcome to the forum. I don’t live in Pittsburgh, but I’m replying so it will bump up your post for fresh exposure. I hope you get some responses. I started a RS travel group in Sacramento in July 2010 and we are still going strong. In July 2020 I started an online RS International travel group. If you look under the Travel Group sub forum you can see all of the groups. If you have any questions about groups just send me a PM.

Thanks so much, Andrea, for your welcome and good wishes. While I am new to the forum, my wife has posted some over the years. We also used to attend a New York City RS group when we lived in New Jersey.

I also look around on Meetup but the local travel groups seem to focus on tours, where we'd like to chat more about independent travel. Anyway, thanks again for your support!

It looks like fun and it looks very well organized, Rick. I would love to come if I lived closer. I do occasionally visit my brother near Jamestown, which is about an hour and a half from Pittsburgh, so maybe on my next visit I can time it to coincide with your meetup

But as an aside, Andrea’s zoom international zooms are awesome. Think about attending one month.

Barbara, I am also working with the Traveling Yinzers (look them up on Facebook) who are starting a meetup. First one will be 1/24 near the convention center and then whoever wants to can go together to the Travel Show.
