September! And the triple-digit temps here in God's Country have finally run their course.. I think. It is a bit cooler, and we've had some welcome rain.
And what else is welcome? Travel talk, of course!
Our next Tulsa Area Rick Steves Travel Group Meeting will be Saturday, September 17. As usual, we'll gather at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m.
We had a great group last month, with plenty of stories and memories, and even a couple of scrapbooks. We never really know what to expect, but Diane and Sharon have both been traveling since our last meeting, and they always have great stories to tell. (The weirdest things always happen to them!) We will all be sharing stories of past travels, and and asking for input about upcoming trips. As always, all travel related topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun.
