Tulsa Area Travel Group Meeting September 16 - Memorial Drive Location

September is here, and fall is in the air. Actually, here in Northeast Oklahoma we've had an amazingly mild summer, so we're hoping to just gently segue into fall. And fall into more travel dreams!

We'll be meeting Saturday, September 16, at Panera Bread at 91st and Memorial (at the shopping center on the northwest corner; that's 8922 S. Memorial) at 10:00 a.m. Our favorite Panera on 41st Street is planning to come back, but is still recovering from last month's tornado.

This month's meeting sounds like a rerun of last month's, but we had way more to talk about than we had time for. So: Kim is bringing her scrapbook from her recent Barcelona-Madrid tour; Stan and I will be sharing memories of our wonderful Village Italy tour; and Jesse will be back with tales and pictures from Yellowstone. Bill and Chris are planning a cruise this fall; we hope they can come so we can share their excitement.

So how about it, Green Country? Come join the fun.

If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.

Bumping this up... There's a lot going on in the area this weekend, but we promise you a good time with good company at our Tulsa Area RS Travel Group.

Jane - Karen and I will be there. Maybe a tad late but maybe not. We are doing something at 8:30 but will head that way afterwards. Been busy at work filling in for people and getting extra $$$$ for my trips. HA- HA!

Kim: Great! just heard from Jesse; she's coming, too. And Stan and I will be there. Haven't heard from Bill yet; I think he and Chris may already be on their cruise.

Anybody else in Green Country who's interested in learning about travel or sharing travel stories, please come join us! We always have a great time, and would love to have more folks join in.

Good meeting today. Thanks to all who showed up to share their travel fun. Jesse and Karen, we're glad to see you again. Kim brought an amazing scrapbook, and we all talked about tours we plan to take, would like to take, dream about taking, and of course, the trips we have taken.

Next up: October 21. I'll post details in a couple of weeks. We're not sure yet where it will be held; we'll have to check the progress of the construction at our favorite Panera.
