Tulsa Area Travel Group Meeting May 20

We in Northeast Oklahoma are delighted to announce: "It's May!" After what must have been one of the rainiest, chilliest Aprils on record, we're ready for some sunshine. And of course, our travel dreams continue, regardless of the weather.

Our next travel group meeting will be Saturday, May 20. We're meeting at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan) at 10:00 a.m.

Those of us who come regularly all have upcoming trips (how many days, Kim?), so I'm sure tweaking final plans will be a main topic of conversation. We're also looking forward to welcoming new friend Jesse.

If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.

27 days - who's counting..... not me. :)

Paris bound.... travel down the Rhone river, then meet up for my Barcelona/Madrid RS tour.

Kim just received her tour member and guide list, so I'm sure that will be a topic at our May 20 meeting. And she's so excited about leaving in under three weeks that I suspect the rest of us will be helping her take deep, calming breaths.

Come share Kim's excitement! We'll see you there.

Kim, I know what you mean. It's 36 days for us, and I'm starting to panic. No need, of course, but just last minute (month?) jitters, nerves, and excitement. See you Saturday.

I'm on my way - have to stop by the Farmers' Market first.

Edit to add: Just got home; as usual, we had a great time. My guy couldn't come, but new friend Jesse was there, and we had fun sharing travel stories. Next month: June 17.
