Tulsa Area Travel Group Meeting, May 13, 2023 (Note date!)

We're finally dragging ourselves out of a cold spell that seems to be hanging on with a death grip, but it looks like this week we'll be able to get out and enjoy warm temps and quit babying our tomato plants. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, we still have our wonderful travel group to keep our spirits up!

Our next Tulsa Area Rick Steves Travel Group Meeting will be Saturday, May 13; please note that this is NOT our normal meeting date. We switching to the second Saturday this month to accommodate someone who would otherwise have to miss three meetings in a row. We can't have that! (Heads up: we may be rescheduling our July meeting, as well. More on that anon.)

As usual, though, we'll gather at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson in Tulsa (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m.

We enjoyed a good turnout last month, with three new people, and are looking forward to another good time this month. We have a couple of people getting ready to head off to various destination, both in the States and beyond, and a few who have just returned from trips, with plenty of stories to share. The rest of us are just dreaming of future travel, and are eager to hear everyone's plans and hopes.

Our meetings are all about sharing our experiences and learning from others. We love hearing each other's stories, asking questions, and offering our own hints and tips. As always, all travel related topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun.

If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.
