Tulsa Area Travel Group Meeting March 17

It's March! Spring is in the air (finally!) and we're excited about our upcoming trips. It's appropriate that our next meeting is on St Patrick's Day, since Ireland is our Kim's favorite destination. Come hear her rave about her past (and future) Ireland tours.

Our next travel group meeting will be Saturday, March 17, at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m. Let's keep up our string of welcoming new participants to our group. We've had new people the last two months, and would love to meet more.

If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.

My gosh.... only 6 weeks from tomorrow. I am sooo pumped to go on my Holiday..... aren't y'all!! LOL.

I thought about show n tell on the 17th. I thought I would bring my 2010 Shetland Island (Scotland) scrapbook to show you.
Last Sunday I did a Shetland Marathon on Netflicks. I watched the 3rd season series and saw so many places that we went to.

Also thought I would bring my trip info that I take and how I organize my trip stuff. I should have my trip roster too!

Been watching their temps and still cold over there in Ireland/Scotland.

As usual, I always look so forward to our meetings.

It's less than six weeks for us, and I'm getting butterflies. You know, the kind where you wake up at 4:00 in the morning wondering if you've bought your plane tickets, (yes) or changed that Paris hotel reservation (oh, crap, no I haven't!)

Kim, we'd love to see your scrapbook. That's always a treat, and we haven't seen that one yet. And I too, hope to have the trip roster and final hotel list by our meeting; we can go over them then.

So we have lots to do March 17. Everyone in the Tulsa area, come join us!

Bumping up our notice, since our meeting is just a week away.

We heard from Jesse yesterday; she's coming and bringing a friend, so that keeps our string of new folks going. Tami's coming too, since she doesn't have to work (for a change!) And of course, Kim, Stan, and I will be there.

Any travel lovers in the Tulsa area, come join us. We have a great time.

And I finally got around (just now) to changing that Paris hotel reservation. Whew!
