Finally, it's February! Farewell to January, and hello to the month of hearts and flowers. And yes, living where we do, we know we're still in for some wintery roller coaster weather, but at least we can see spring coming. I have a few daffodils about to pop, so there's hope. And speaking of hope and looking to the future...
Our next travel group meeting will be Saturday, February 16, at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m. Nothing special planned this month, but several of our regulars missed our last meeting because of the weather, so we're hoping to see them again this time.
I'm sure we'll be discussing Paris and London, though. Last month Kim showed us a rough draft of her planned activities for her upcoming trip to London. It spurred me on to start getting serious about planning our upcoming trip, so maybe - maybe I say - I'll have something to share, as well.
But as usual, all topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome.
